USD Tree Lighting Ceremony Nov. 28; TPB's Winter Wonderland Follows

Tree Lighting CeremonyThe University of San Diego will welcome the holiday season with its inaugural Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 4:45 p.m. on November 28 at the Paseo de Colachis Overlook. All are welcome.

The University of San Diego will usher in a new Torero tradition and kickoff a celebration of the holiday season with the “Light Out of Darkness” Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, at USD's Paseo de Colachis Overlook located on its east end.

 

This event, which will be attended by President James Harris and the campus community, is open to everyone in the San Diego community. We’ll light up the night and dedicate ourselves to bringing light to the world. Enjoy refreshments, carolers and holiday cheer! No RSVP is necessary. All are welcome.

Following the tree lighting ceremony, USD Associated Students and the Torero Program Board will present its annual Winter Wonderland celebration on the Maher Lawn from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Attendees can enjoy time with friends, a hot chocolate bar, cupcakes, liquid nitrogen ice cream, winter-themed crafts and even pick up a free mug.
