EPIC Updates California Energy Legislation Site
San Diego (June 18, 2013) – The Energy Policy Initiatives Center (EPIC) monitors California Legislation related to energy and climate change. We recently updated our online Legislative Center with a list of bills that passed out of their house of origin and are advancing through the legislature.
Notable Bills
- Several bills related to Proposition 39 have advanced, including AB 39, AB 114, SB 39, and SB 64
- AB 327 would make revisions to residential rates design. (See EPIC's blog post on residential rates)
- SB 4 would regulate hydraulic fracturing.
- AB 270 would create a website for information and data related to ratepayer funded energy efficiency programs.
