Forbes.com -- Delay management is one of life’s most difficult skills. Pejoratively dubbed procrastination; in essence, it’s knowing just when to pull the trigger on any given decision, whether that means over periods of milliseconds or months.
Frank Partnoy, author of “Waiting: The Art and Science of Delay,” argues that the concept can be applied to everything from dating to counter-terrorism.
