Food Truck Rolls Out New Approach to Help Homeless

San Diego 6 -- University of San Diego graduate student, Teresa Smith, started her non-profit Dreams for Change to meet the needs of families and individuals adversely affected by the financial downturn.

Recently, Smith rolled out her latest project called The Fresh food truck. It's one of the first of its kind in the nation to feed the homeless in San Diego by letting them use CalFresh cards (formerly known as food stamps) to purchase food. (Full Story
