Hundreds Celebrate Graduation at USD

CBS 8 -- Commencement ceremonies will begin Saturday for more than 1,800 students at the University of San Diego.

The first day will be for nearly 500 graduate students, who will receive advanced degrees in a 1 p.m. ceremony at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. Carolyn Woo, president and CEO of Catholic Relief Services, will deliver the commencement address.

Sunday, 723 students will be awarded bachelor's degrees from the College of Arts and Sciences. Bill Drayton, a pioneer in social entrepreneurism and the founder and CEO of Ashoka: Innovators for the Public, will address the graduates and receive an honorary degree. (Full Story)
