USD PhD Nursing Student from La Jolla Appointed to State Board

La Jolla Light -- University of San Diego PhD nursing student Kathy Marsh, a resident of La Jolla, has been appointed to the California Healthcare Workforce Policy Commission (CHWPC).

The CHWPC works with the state’s Song-Brown primary care workforce program to encourage universities and primary health care professionals to provide health care in medically underserved areas and provide financial support to family practice residency, nurse practitioner, physician assistant and registered nurse programs throughout the state.
