USD Summer Program Open to Life-Long Learners
San Diego Union Tribune -- The summer session of the University of San Diego’s Third Age program for those age 55 and older will run from Monday through July 28.
The program will feature speakers, workshops and a field trip and touch on topics including the arts, current affairs, history, science and medicine.
Participants will take a behind-the-scenes tour of the San Diego Zoo’s Institute for Conservation Research, get recommendations on new books for summer reading and hear a presentation by USD students planning a solar power project for a village in Sudan. (Full Story)
