University of San Diego Ranks No. 8 Amongst Primarily Undergraduate Institutions
University of San Diego ranks No. 8 amongst primarily undergraduate institutions with greater than 5,000 students who have received awards from the Research Corporation Cottrell Science program. With an award most recently to Rae Anderson, PhD, in physics, faculty in the Departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Department of Physics at USD have been awarded eight grants in the past 10 years. Considering the far fewer faculty at USD as compared to the institutions who ranked above us, our research is certainly ranked excellent on a national level.
