HOTEL GUADALAJARA PLAZA
Although students are encouraged to stay with host families in Guadalajara, the program offers the possibility of staying at the Hotel Guadalajara Plaza. The Executive Director, most of the administration, the medical team, and many of the professors will be staying at this hotel. Rates are between $65 and $75 a night. Rates are subject to change. It is recommended that students call the office for current hotel rates. Reservations should be made through the Guadalajara Summer Program office, however, all payments are made directly to the hotel in Guadalajara. Students will need to pay at the hotel upon arrival. The hotel accepts Traveler's Checks and major credit cards. No personal checks will be accepted.
Hotel Guadalajara Plaza is located near the Plaza del Sol, which is the largest outdoor shopping mall in town. The hotel is within walking distance to the Guadalajara Expo Convention center, a three hundred yard driving range for interested golfers, several coffee shops, restaurants and other tourist and business attractions. The hotel offers 112 executive rooms, 30 deluxe suites surrounding an illustrious garden and a full service pool area. The suites include their own mini bar, fax, and computer outlets and a separate living area with a 26" satellite remote control TV.

HOTEL SUITES BERNINI
The Hotel Suites Bernini is another alternative housing option located near the downtown area and the American Consulate. This majestic tower is approximately 15 minutes from ITESO and offers covered parking, laundry and dry cleaning services, fax machines, medical services and breathtaking views of the city. One and two bedroom, furnished apartments are available, complete with a kitchen, laundry room (two bedroom only), and cable television. The special group rate will range from $40-60 per apartment per night, plus tax.
