USD School of Law celebrates the Class of 2024 with members of our Advisory Boards - the Board of Visitors and the Law Alumni Board - and the Maudsley Fellows Society at a Toast to Leadership reception on:

This reception welcomes the Class of 2024 as our newest alumni and toasts USD School of Law’s next generation of leaders. Special guests also include members of USD School of Law's faculty and administration.

About the Board of Visitors & Law Alumni Board

The Board of Visitors is an advisory and support group that is dedicated to the School of Law's advancement as a leading center of legal education and scholarship. Members of the Board of Visitors provide counsel and feedback to the Dean on a range of issues related to the priorities and needs of the School of Law.

The Law Alumni Board is dedicated to advancing the USD School of Law’s national distinction as a leader in legal education while contributing to the success of current law students and a community of more than 17,000 alumni. The Board seeks to create lifelong relationships between alumni and the School of Law through meaningful engagement, visibility, awareness, promotion, pride, participation, volunteer involvement, student support, practical educational opportunities, social connections, employment and philanthropic commitment.

About the Maudsley Fellows Society

Created in 1992 in honor of esteemed Professor Ronald H. Maudsley (1918-1981), the Maudsley Fellows Society is a distinguished group of donors committed to supporting the USD School of Law through annual donations of $1,500 or more. Their gifts enable the law school to maintain high standards of excellence in scholarships and education for the benefit of students and the San Diego community as a whole.

Maudsley Fellows donors are individually listed and prominently displayed in the entryway to the law school. This listing provides a leadership example for alumni and demonstrates to students the impact of alumni support on their legal education. Maudsley Fellows donors are currently leading the way at the USD School of Law, such as:

• Providing scholarship support to attract and retain top students
• Funding capital projects to provide students with facilities that combine the latest technology with our faculty experts
• Broadening the reach of programs like the USD Legal Clinics that provide over $3.5M in pro-bono legal services every year while also providing critical hands-on training for our students

For graduates within the past seven years, membership to USD School of Law's Maudsley Fellows leadership giving society is $500. Maudsley Fellows have reciprocal membership in the university's President's Club with access to exclusive benefits and special events.
