Sexual Assault Awareness Month Events Calendar

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is an annual campaign to raise public awareness about sexual assault, educate communities and individuals on how to prevent sexual violence, and show support for survivors. Each year, during the month of April, the campus community comes together to plan events and activities that highlight sexual violence as a public health, human rights, and social justice issue and reinforce the need for ongoing prevention efforts.

Whether you are a survivor on campus or want to support survivors in making our home a safer, healthier community, we want you to know that, together, we can speak out against the culture that perpetuates violence and stand up for those affected by it. We invite members of the community to participate in SAAM programming in any way that feels comfortable to them, whether that involves going to an event, wearing teal, having conversations with others on how to create a culture of care, or simply reflecting on how you can contribute to a safer community.
