You are invited to the Seventh annual Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Excellence Showcase. This year, Clinical Professor of Embodied Equity and Neurodiversity Niki Elliott, PhD, will speak to us regarding the importance of our theme, "Embracing Genius: The Gift of Neurodiversity," which is a celebration of the unique talents and gifts that neurodiverse individuals bring to our collective community.

This showcase serves as an opportunity for our dedicated students, faculty, and staff to present their research on diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and social justice and for our community to learn about and recognize their meaningful work.

Please register to attend Wednesday, April 24, from noon to 4 p.m. in Mother Rosalie Hill Hall for an enriching event appreciating and honoring the meaningful research that our students and colleagues have engaged in throughout the year. I also encourage you to join us in Warren Auditorium, Room 116, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. for the opportunity to experience "Remember That Time," a play written by our very own PhD in Education for Social Justice student, Mabelle Reynoso, who through her art tells a story about an eleven-year-old Carol pursuing the answer to the question, "Can we be a family?" by creating an album of make-believe memories with her father who is serving a life sentence.

In addition to saving this date and registering to attend, please stay tuned for further details and a preview of the remarkable work we will feature at our showcase. I look forward to this celebration of our collective work as a SOLES community!
