This informational Zoom event his hosted by the Seattle Torero Club and led by Real Estate Broker Wes Jones '01 and Real Estate Attorney Scott Weaver '92.

During this program, Scott and Wes will offer their expertise on the following topics:

  • Buying, selling, renting, and financing in the Covid-19 era
  • Covid-19 laws and ordinances and their effect on real estate
  • Washington real estate specific topics

There will be opportunities for Q&A, and the total time for the conversation will be one hour.

This is a free program but RSVPs are required. 

More on Scott and Wes:

Scott Weaver graduated from USD in 1992 with a BBA in Business Finance. He then earned his JD from the UCLA School of Law in 1996. In 2008, he obtained a certificate in commercial real estate from the University of Washington. Scott is a partner with the law firm of Carney Badley Spellman, P.S., in Seattle and the majority of his legal practice involves real estate litigation and real estate transactions. In addition, he is residential real estate investor with holdings in King County and Chelan County.


Wes Jones was born and raised in Bellevue, WA. As the son of a builder, he truly 'grew up' in the business. He graduated from USD in 2001 with a business degree w/ an emphasis in real estate. Wes obtained his real estate license in 2005 and became a managing broker in 2008.  Real estate sales is his primary business where he is both a real estate agent while overseeing a small and efficient team of sales agents out of Bellevue. His team services King, Pierce, and Snohomish County and are on track to complete 70 transactions and 50 million in sales volume in 2020. In addition to sales, he has been involved with over 15 flips in the last 5 years and operates a property management company with over 120 properties managed. Wes is a passionate investor and believer in rental properties. His holdings are all long term leases and the mix includes small multi-family in Pierce county and single family homes in King and Snohomish.
