Are you ready to skill up for a new world?
These rapidly changing times require a new set of skills to succeed. That's why the CatalyZer and the Brink are teaming up to help you acquire these skills and become a highly sought-after candidate upon graduation.
The new post-COVID economic paradigm requires us to become lifelong learners ready to face the challenges ahead. For that reason, we are excited to launch our series, Tackling This Summer with Resilience.
The first session of the series will focus on "re-skilling for a new world."
On June 10, grab your favorite breakfast and join us virtually from 8:15-9 a.m. to hear from our first guest speaker William Eggers, executive director of the Center for Government Insights at Deloitte, who will present on:
- Job-centric skills (emotional intelligence, people skills, resiliency, flexibility, and adaptability) and how to get them.
- Mindset versus skills, and becoming lifelong learners.
- Intrapreneurship and learning by doing.
- The Solution Revolution - a book by Mr. Eggers that focuses on the need for a different economic paradigm that can flexibly draw on resources, combine efforts and create value while improving the lives of citizens.
- Choosing between employment, entrepreneurship and gig-economy opportunities.
All USD students, faculty, staff, and administrators, as well as members of our San Diego community, are invited!
This is a great opportunity to learn and grow. And, if you are a USD student, an opportunity to earn Passport/Compass/Connect points this summer!
