The segment will feature USD alumni, Tim Denton ‘08 and Laura Nunn, MA ‘08, who will share their stories of how they experienced and navigated through the 2008-09 crisis and how best to weather the CV19 downturn.

Speaker Bios:

Tim Denton '08
A native of Los Angeles, CA, Tim started his career in 2008 after graduating from USD with a degree in Business Administration.  As a Managing Director at Capstone Partners Financial, he offers total financial needs analysis  through a network of experienced professionals with expertise in  retirement analysis and programs, estate strategies, employee benefit/retention services and business continuation strategies. Tim is an athlete and avid sports fan and spends his spare time playing golf. 
 
Laura Nunn MA'08
As the San Diego Housing Federation’s Director of Policy & Programs, Laura plans, directs, and coordinates development of policy positions as well as government and legislative affairs. Previously, she worked at U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein’s San Diego district office working on federal level issues related to housing, health, veteran affairs, and social programs. She also interned at former California State Senator Denise Ducheny’s office. Laura holds a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from SDSU.
