Patricio Keegan '18 (MBA) -  Global Marketing Director at Tecme, Atlanta, GA

In the third presentation of the Managing Under Uncertainty series, Mr. Keegan will describe the unprecedented challenges that manufacturers of ventilators have been faced with due to COVID-19. Medical device companies are responding to increased demand by ramping up production, however, adapting and innovating rapidly in a regulated industry is a real challenge. In addition, Tecme must balance the demands of multiple stakeholders, navigate pressure from governments and confront compromised global supply chains.

Patricio Keegan was born in Cordoba, Argentina, and moved to the United States after high school to obtain his bachelor's degree. Thereafter, he moved back to Cordoba to work at his family’s business, Tecme. Tecme is a medical device company that designs and manufactures mechanical ventilators for intensive care units. Mr. Keegan worked at Tecme for over three years, starting as a marketing coordinator and moving up to sales manager for Latin America, before moving to San Diego to earn his MBA in international business and marketing at the USD School of Business.

During his MBA, he interned with Roche in their Cervical International Business team. After graduating from USD, he returned to his family’s business to apply the knowledge and skills learned from his graduate studies. He currently works at Tecme’s office in Atlanta, GA as the company’s global marketing director.
