Brett Hiltscher '11 (MBA) - Senior Director of Speed at Adidas, Germany

In the second installment of our Managing Under Uncertainty series, Mr. Hiltscher will be joining us from Germany where he will describe how he is meeting the current challenges, and with them, finding opportunities. Mr. Hiltscher and his colleagues at Adidas are well accustomed to working remotely with virtual collaboration, however, the current global health pandemic has created significant challenges affecting all aspects of the business.

Mr. Hiltscher is a senior director at Adidas. As a global operations member, he is charged with the execution of SPEED, a strategic pillar in the Adidas strategy. Most recently, he led the transformation office responsible for Reebok's turnaround. His 13-year career in Sporting Goods has spanned four countries and three brands in global and market roles across multiple functions.

Mr. Hiltscher's energetic leadership comes with a critical eye, a positive attitude and a comfort under fire. He is a native San Diegan with a passion for sports and is a particularly avid Padres fan. He enjoys hiking with his Shiba Inu, a good bottle of wine and traveling with his wife.
