To commemorate the women’s suffrage centennial, the Humanities Center offers two panel events considering the nature of the passage of the 19th Amendment. Dr. Hasselbach moderates faculty specialists from various departments on the aspects of this landmark legislation including black women and the suffrage movement, women and labor, the legislative process, women and power, and the legacy of women’s democracy.
