NROTC San Diego will host a livestream commissioning ceremony at 10 a.m. on May 22.
Twenty-three new Ensigns and 16 new Second Lieutenants will be commissioned into the Navy and Marine Corps, respectively. This is the culmination of four to five years of academic rigor and military training. NROTC San Diego commissions more Naval and Marine Corps officers than any other NROTC program in the country and 10% of all NROTC Marine Corps officers.
Due to the impacts of COVID-19, all NROTC commissioning events in the country will be conducted remotely to protect our Officers, their families, and our communities. The San Diego State University ceremony will be streamed on YouTube Live to allow new officers, their families, friends, and guests to participate in this important moment in their lives.
