Details

The 24th Annual Real Estate Conference is postponed as a preventive measure to reduce risk related to the COVID-19 virus. Visit the university’s COVID-19 website for the most current information for the USD community.
As you may have heard, Governor Newsom issued an Executive Order on March 12, which includes the cancellation of events with more than 250 attendees. Accordingly, we will be heeding that order and will postpone the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate's 24th Annual Real Estate Conference, scheduled for March 26 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront hotel.  As we have received more information about the COVID-19 over the past few weeks, we also determined that postponing the event is the prudent and safest course of action. We will be monitoring this pandemic carefully to determine the safest time to reschedule this conference, hopefully sometime in the near future. We thank you for your continued support of the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate and our mission to support USD real estate students.

On March 26, 2020, the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate invites you to attend its 24th Annual Real Estate Conference: 2020 Outlook, A Decade of Change (#BMCAREC). This event is our signature gathering of the "who’s who" in the real estate industry in San Diego. The conference attracts more than 600 high-level real estate professionals annually.

Hear about the next evolution of capital markets from our keynote speaker Roy H. March, CEO of Eastdil Secured.

Chad Yoshinobu, principal and co-founder of Gensler's Seattle office, will speak to the new trends in the built environment and how architecture and design work drive culture and behavior.

Mitch Roschelle, partner and business development leader of PwC, along with Norm Miller, PhD, Hahn Chair of Real Estate Finance at the University of San Diego School of Business, will discuss innovative and disruptive changes occurring in the real estate industry.

Following the speakers, there will be two breakout sessions. Michael Zeller, PhD, CEO of Dynam.AI, will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence and machine learning on the real estate industry. John Frager, executive managing director at CBRE, will provide a border-to-border overview of the San Diego County real estate market.
