What does it mean to integrate a science curriculum? Join Linda Boland, PhD, associate professor of biology at the University of Richmond, Richmond, Va., and the 2019 Knapp Chair for the Liberal Arts for a lively discussion of models of integrated science curriculum that cover blending the first year course work of chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, and computer science into a single, year-long course (Integrated Quantitative Science, IQS) to team-taught Chemistry and Biology (SMART courses). Learn about the challenges and successes from the administrative, faculty and student perspective.
