Graduate and Law Student Housing

Thank you for your interest in on campus law/graduate housing. We have limited law/graduate housing available. If you are interested in housing please contact Residential Life at or 619-260-4777. 

Housing will only be offered in the Presidio Terrace Apartments and space is limited. 

We encourage you to also review the Off Campus Housing website for information on becoming a renter, transportation, parking and other housing resources.

USD Tram service is not provided between the apartment complex and main campus.  Please use designated walkaways and crosswalks to access main campus. Please make sure to review the Tram Information and Hours page for additional information.

Presidio Terrace Apartments

The Presidio Terrace Apartments are located along Linda Vista Road near the west entrance to campus and offers housing to mostly graduate and law students. These apartments offer continuous occupancy (including Christmas Break, Intersession, and Spring Break). These 42 Presidio Terrace Apartments offer fully furnished single unit (one-bedroom/one-bathroom) apartments with kitchens and living rooms that provide the additional privacy. Utilities and maintenance are included and each apartment has wifi service. A laundry room is provided on the premises. An Assistant Community Director (ACD) also lives in the community as a convenient resource to assist you with any housing questions you may have.

PTA/UTA Assistant Community Director: Sally Zheng

Sally Zheng is the Assistant Community Director in the Presidio Terrace Apartments, Manchester Village, and University Terrace Apartments. She is beyond excited to move down to San Diego and begin her experience at USD.

Sally was born and raised in Los Angeles, particularly in Rowland Heights. She completed her undergraduate career at the University of California, Irvine, with a BA in Psychology and Social Behavior and a Minor in Mathematics. Her undergraduate involvements include serving as a Resident Advisor for three years and a Peer Consultant for two years. Throughout her position as a Resident Advisor, Sally worked with Greek Life, Second Year Experience, and International Students hall themes. As a Peer Consultant, she held consultation sessions with students who were struggling with their academics and presented workshops on study skills and self-care. Sally also completed an internship as a Residential Proctor at Harvard University and is excited to share her great experience at USD.

Sally is completing her graduate work at the University of San Diego in the Master’s in Higher Education Leadership program. Working under both housing and student life at UCI gave her the opportunity to help and share her own experiences with a wide range of prospective students. Sally thrives to help students achieve academic success and is happy to be working in Residential Education.

Sally's office is located in Manchester Village Ext. 5001. She can be contacted at .During Sally’s spare time, she loves exploring nature and relaxing at the beach. She always encourages a good laugh and a good time. Sally’s favorite hobbies are journaling, relaxing walks on the beach, and going on adventures with friends.

PTA/UTA Community Director: Joseph Lasley

Joe Lasley is the Community Director for Manchester Village, University Terrace Apartments (UTAs), and the Presidio Terrace Apartments (PTAs). He is happy to be a part of these amazing areas and enjoys meeting and getting to know upperclass students. Joe grew up in Duluth, MN and went to college in both WI and MN before coming to San Diego. He is a doctoral student at USD (PhD in Leadership Studies) and helps teach in SOLES. He takes advantage of many great opportunities to get involved at USD and is passionate about supporting others to Promote Meaningful Community Experience. As a Community Director, Joe is responsible for overseeing Manchester Village Building 1 and 2, the UTAs and the PTAs ensuring the safety of its residents, and fostering an inclusive and welcoming community. Joe's office is located behind Manchester Village Desk. Business office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM, or by appointment.
