- Community Director Position
The Community Director (CD) oversees a dynamic living-learning residential area for first-year, transfer, second-year, and/or continuing students. The CD assists in the administration and management of the overall residence life program through serving approximately 2,700 residents.

Live-In Staff Accommodations
- All Live-In Residential Education staff receive a university meal plan.
- Several apartments have been renovated with new flooring and appliances since this video was made.
- Furniture can be changed or switched out with our facilities team. Live-In Staff may also bring their own personal furniture.
- All areas named Missions have been renamed to Valley.

Live-In Partners & Families
Live-in professional staff may live in their university-provided staff apartment with their married spouse, registered domestic partner, and/or their legally dependent children. Questions can be directed to the Director of Residential Education.
Pets and Approved Animals
USD complies with all local, state, and federal laws and ordinances pertaining to service animals as well as animals documented and approved for wellbeing reasons. Further questions can be directed to the Director of Residential Education.
