Dr. Amanda Cuellar, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of San Diego Hahn School of Nursing since 2024. She brings extensive experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner, providing mental health and primary care services in various rural, correctional, and community settings, including her current roles at ECRMC and Wellpath. Dr. Cuellar has also served as a Psych Course Coordinator at SDSU, placing students in clinical settings to bridge theory with practice. She earned her DNP, PMHNP, and MSN/FNP degrees from the University of San Diego and her BSN from the University of Phoenix. Passionate about education and service, she has participated in global medical missions, community health fairs, and preceptorships for aspiring nurse practitioners. Her expertise includes effective communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and time management.
