Navigating Graduate Education as a First-Gen Student

Need additional information and resources to support your identity as a First-Gen student? Please watch this Virtual Panel on "Navigating Graduate Education as a First-Gen Student" addressing common concerns from graduate applicants who identify as first-generation students*. Panelists shared:

  • their paths to grad school, including the challenges they faced and how they overcame them
  • tips on how to select the right program for you
  • advice about the things they wished they had known while they were still in your shoes as a grad school applicant
