Information for Students Transferring to the University of San Diego

Please visit Transferring College Credits to learn how classes transfer to USD. In addition, refer to the Transfer Information flyer for more information on the transfer student application and admissions process.

Recommended Knauss School of Business Prerequisites for Transfer Students

It is strongly recommended to complete calculus prior to transferring to USD, and at minimum college algebra, if you are coming in with sophomore standing or higher.

We do not recommend that students take statistics and information systems prior to attending USD. Due to the Knauss School of Business' curriculum and structure of these classes, it is possible that it will not qualify for transfer credit.

Please note, any course approved to transfer to the Knauss School of Business must have a minimum grade of a C or better earned. There are some courses that require a B or better. In these special cases, your advisor will discuss this with you.
