You don’t need an entire semester abroad to have a life-changing international experience. The Knauss School of Business offers intensive business courses abroad for graduate students, which typically take place during USD's intersession term. Most programs integrate an international consulting opportunity to give you real-world experience working for a global client.
Get Immersed in a Global Mindset
Knauss MBA students traveled to Guatemala to do coursework and learn from local, small business owners. There, they could really see the impacts of microloans and how they’ve helped Antiguans create more successful businesses and better lives.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do. That was how USD undergraduates in the international finance class approached it, but they also did a bit more — a private tour of the Vatican. While there, they took in a special presentation by ASIF on anti-money laundering and terrorism financing.
MSRE students spent 6 nights in Taipei, Taiwan and 6 nights in Tokyo, Japan for their annual intersession trip. They learned about capital markets, visited various companies, and completed coursework, all while embracing an incredible experience.
