Breaking Barriers: A Graduate Business Diversity Initiative

We value creating a diverse and inclusive community and prepare leaders who are dedicated to ethical conduct and compassionate service.

Our Breaking Barriers package includes free GMAT prep resources and scholarship awards to make higher education more accessible to marginalized and socioeconomically disadvantaged communities.

Many individuals with immense potential do not pursue a graduate degree because of financial barriers to entry including costs associated with standardized exams and application fees. We are sensitive to the fact that graduate school comes with a financial commitment and are dedicated to making our graduate business programs accessible to all. We believe that a graduate business degree from the USD School of Business can propel your career trajectory, help you positively impact your community and develop your potential to its fullest.

The Breaking Barriers package is available to those who self-identify amongst various categories of diversity including but not limited to: Black, Indigenous, People of Color, low-income, income insecure households, first-generation students, LGBTQ+ and other underrepresented groups.

There are ten packages available across participating graduate business programs.
