The Ahlers Center is proud to host international scholars to visit USD to facilitate collaborative global research activity and will support inviting researchers to visit USD to facilitate collaborative global research activity.

All About Inviting Scholars

Consideration will be given to invitations that aim to conduct global business research and publish in high-impact journals. It is expected that visiting scholars will also participate in research seminars, lectures, or other activities that would provide knowledge and insight on topics of interest to Knauss School faculty. Visiting scholars are expected to possess a terminal degree in their field or to be pursuing the degree.

Visiting scholars are expected to be financially supported by their home institution with minimal monetary or other requirements from the Knauss School of Business.

Ahlers International Research Speaker Series

The Ahlers International Research Speaker Series provides a forum for invited global scholars and Knauss faculty to share research, engage in scholarly dialogue, and advance understanding of engagement, its potential, and its challenges. Visiting scholars are selected and invited by the Knauss Research Committee in collaboration with the Ahlers Center for International Business.

International Visiting Researchers

Knauss welcomes scholars from across the globe who can enrich our academic community by conducting research and/or teaching USD courses. Interested scholars should identify a faculty sponsor from a Knauss department with whom research collaboration is anticipated. Scholars are expected to participate in research seminars, lectures and Knauss activities that enrich our academic community. Visiting scholars should possess a terminal degree in their field and possess financial support from their home institution. The Ahlers Center is happy to provide visa support for the scholar’s arrival and stay.
