Antonio Formacion is the assistant director of international business programs at the Ahlers Center for International Business at the Knauss School of Business where he supports the director. Before working in the Ahlers Center, Antonio was most recently a senior assistant professor at the Graduate School of Law, Kyushu University in Japan where he focused on technology and personal data protection. Previously, he also worked under the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a special assistant for information and culture for the Japanese Embassy in Manila.
Antonio matriculated at Kyushu University, Kanazawa University, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (all in Japan), University of the Philippines, University of San Agustin (both in the Philippines), and did a summer at the Hague Academy of International Law (in the Netherlands).
He has a certificate in Thai cooking, taught cooking classes in Japan, passed his mother-in-law’s taste test for Persian cooking, and is proficient with Ilonggo dishes from the Philippines.
