New Electronic Health Record System
The Student Health Center is currently transitioning to a new Electronic Health Record system which will provide more efficient and streamlined services for our patients. During this transition period you may temporarily experience longer waiting periods. If you have an appointment, please check in 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. We appreciate your patience and understanding in our efforts to serve you better!
New Modules to be added by Fall 2009:
Two Self Check-in Kiosks
Students who have scheduled appointments, as well as those who are requesting immunizations or pre-ordered lab tests, will self check-in at two kiosks and avoid the line of students who are checking in for nurse triage and completing paperwork. Students using the self check-in kiosks will also complete pre-appointment health questionaires.
Secure Messaging
Students and their providers will be able to communicate via secure messaging about lab test results, prescription refills, and follow up care. All communication is encrypted to ensure it is secure and HIPAA compliant and is accessed via the USD Portal and not through an unprotected e-mail buffer.
