Congratulations to all of our alumni on these exciting updates!

Joseph Wilimek '75 (MA) recently retired from his District Superintendent position.

Dorothy (Kent) Appleby '81 (MEd) is enjoying her retirement years by staying busy with family, friends, and church activities.

Katherine (Sniffin) Stone '95 (BA) '97 (MEd) is starting her 23rd year as a high school teacher. She is concurrently working with the district office as a Data, Standards, Learning and Instructional Specialist. Her oldest child just graduated from high school and is starting college, she has two more in high school, and another one starting 8th grade.

Heather (Huffman) Hirschkoff '98 (BA) is traveling in Australia and Indonesia this summer!

Patricia (Mountain) LaVoire '05 (MEd) enjoys travel, working part-time, and spending time with family and friends.

Cynthia Sistek-Chandler '07 (EdD) is full professor at her university, and recently received the Making IT Happen award.

Rebecca (Hertel Hames) Leidiger '08 (MA) married Ernie Leidiger on July 6, 2019.

John Mosby '09 (PhD) just celebrated one year as President of Highline College in the Seattle area.

James Dobbs '14 (PhD) was recently promoted to Dean of Faculty at the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School.

Elijah Bonde '05 (BA) '15 (MA)  was recently named the President of the Native Alumni Affinity Group for USD. They will start meeting in October.

Jessica (Garcia De Paz) Sierra '15 (MA) recently got legally married to her high school sweetheart. She has been in her role as a TRIO SSS advisor for one year.

Sigrid Struben '19 (MA) started a new job at PATH San Diego in May. She completed a consultancy project for the organization as a student, and her highering was based largely on her strategic plan for volunteer engagement.
