Benton Moore
Benton Moore has been named as the new Director of the Brink SBDC in the Knauss School of Business. Benton brings his passion for entrepreneurship and innovation full circle in a career as a business attorney, exited founder, tech investor, and startup advisor. Benton is an active member of NuFund Venture Group and Fund Manager for the San Diego Angel Conference. Benton also serves as Lead Mentor for Techstars San Diego, Technical Advisor for Southern California Energy Innovation Network, Advisor for NASDAQ Entrepreneurs, Climate Ambassador for MIT, and Industry Mentor for NSF I-Corps. Benton earned his JD and MBA (New Venture Management) from University of San Diego as well as specialties in International Law (Trinity College, Dublin), Venture Capital (UC Berkeley), Strategies for Sustainability (Stanford), and Strategic Management and AI (MIT).

Stephen Flynn
As Program Manager with The Brink SBDC, Stephen helps manage Brink client-advisor pairings and Brink training events. Stephen holds a Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts from University of California San Diego. When he’s not playing the cello, he’s playing Magic: The Gathering and video games.

Christian Park
Christian Park is the Junior Consultant at The Brink SBDC and currently is pursuing his MBA at the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business with academic roots spanning biopsychology and AI applications. As a business founder and a consultant with experience advising nonprofits and international businesses, he brings both entrepreneurial perspective and hands-on analytical skills to every client engagement. At The Brink, Christian is dedicated to helping San Diego's innovative founders turn early-stage ideas into scalable companies.

Ava Wisniewski
Ava is the Marketing Associate at The Brink SBDC. Ava is a current Full-Time MBA candidate at the USD’s Knauss School of Business, where she is concentrating in Marketing. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration–Management from San Diego State University, specializing in Entrepreneurship. Passionate about community engagement, Ava has supported local chambers of commerce, nonprofit initiatives, and university events as an MBA Graduate Ambassador.

He has consulted for over 200 startups across numerous industries, and holds an MBA from Loyola University Maryland and a BA in Economics from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.

Natalia’s legal experience includes working for a national IP law firm and clerking for the Honorable Rebecca Beach Smith, the former Chief Federal Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia. She also brings 22 years of acute medical experience as a Registered Nurse. Natalia holds a JD and an LLM in Intellectual Property from the University of New Hampshire Law School.

Maisha is part of an angel investing syndicate and brings a range of strengths including business strategy, organizational management, strategic branding and marketing, and analytic capabilities. She is a lecturer at San Diego State, and active in numerous Boards. Maisha has a PhD (Educational Psychology), MA and BA from UCLA and an MBA from the Rady School of Management.

Randy Schreckhise
Randy is an entrepreneur and biotech finance professional. He co-founded August Therapeutics and is a past President and current Board Member of San Diego Entrepreneurs Exchange. He has made contributions to six approved therapeutics and many other programs through finance, business development, and operations roles at Artelo, aTyr, Abilita, Trius, Ardea, Human Genome Sciences and ZymoGenetics. Randy also previously worked in project management, protein biochemistry and genetics at ZymoGenetics. Earlier in his career he worked in the Basic Sciences and Clinical Divisions at The Hutch. He received an MBA from Seattle University and a BS in microbiology from Washington State University, where he was a Howard Hughes Undergraduate Research Fellow.
