USD’s Knauss MBA Program Leaps to Top 50 in Bloomberg Businessweek Rankings

The MBA degree at the University of San Diego’s Knauss School of Business is ranked among the top 50 programs in the United States, according to Bloomberg Businessweek. The Knauss MBA program leaped an impressive 21 spots since it was last ranked in 2022 to 48th in the nation and sixth in California by one of the nation’s preeminent business publications.

The Knauss School of Business MBA performed particularly well in student learning, entrepreneurship and inclusion, ranking 4th in the U.S. for student learning, 9th for entrepreneurship and 11th for inclusion. Additionally, the Knauss MBA ranks #10 nationally for return on investment (ROI), according to Bloomberg’s Business School ROI calculator.

The Knauss MBA program was redesigned in 2022 with a renewed focus on rigor, relevance and streamlined value. The program offers small class sizes with a strong emphasis on experiential learning, including hands-on consulting projects with major organizations in San Diego and around the world. With two STEM-designated concentrations recognized in 2023, the program has expanded opportunities for international students looking to study in the U.S.

Last month, The Princeton Review also recognized the Knauss MBA among the best in the nation, including #1 Greatest Resources for Women and #8 Best Green MBA.

The Full-Time Knauss MBA program can be completed in 17 or 22 months and is currently accepting applications for Fall 2026.
