Welcome to new and returning law school students who begin classes today!
Olé orientation weekend begins on August 30. And, if you’re looking for items for your dorm, be sure to check out Torero Thrift – a new sustainable initiative created by students. You’ll be able to shop for free, gently used items like lamps, rugs and furniture donated by other Toreros during move-out weekend. Torero Thrift will be set up in the law school parking lot from Saturday, August 30 to Monday, September 1st.
Don’t miss out on hearing from celebrity authors like Stacey Abrams and Ziggy Marley right here on USD’s campus – it’s the KPBS San Diego Book Festival, and it’s happening at USD Saturday, August 23rd. There will be activities and panels, and some USD professors will even be featured among the authors. Click the link below to register.
Cheer on our Torero athletes as they kick off their new seasons! Women’s Soccer got off to a strong start last week, tying Cal Poly 3-3 in their home opener, and will face UC Irvine on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Torero Stadium. Men’s Soccer was picked #1 in the West Coast Conference preseason poll and will take the field at home on September 4 at 7 p.m. against California Baptist. Tickets are free to the Torero community.
