This is your USD News Minute.

Thursday, USD is hosting the San Diego Economic Roundtable, where experts will discuss how recent elections may affect jobs and businesses locally and nationwide. Then at noon, students can join financial content creator Kyla Scanlon in the Nexus Theater for an interactive student focused session on navigating today's economy. 

And, if you’re looking to learn more about the world of Athletics and college sports – join USD’s Athletic Director Kimya Massey on the Athletics Edge, a special podcast series which is part of our USD 'At the Edge of it All' Podcast. In our latest episode, we discuss the history and important role of athletics on a college campus. Catch every episode wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaking of sports, if you’re in town, come support our student-athletes playing at home. On Thursday at 7 pm, men’s basketball takes on Washington State. Friday, women’s tennis goes head to head against LSU at noon. Saturday, men's tennis takes on Oklahoma State at 10 am followed by the woman’s basketball team facing off against Pepperdine at 2 pm. And, rounding off the weekend, women’s tennis plays UC Santa Barbara at noon.
