Daniel Atuesta '23: Making Change Happen

Originally from Colombia, Daniel Atuesta worked as a clinical therapist for four years and had the opportunity to support survivors of human trafficking. His drive and desire to make a bigger impact led him to the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business — and his love of data led him to pursue the dual MBA and MS in Business Analytics (MSBA) program.

"Trying to change the stigma that there is behind mental health is my priority. And in order to do that, in order to convince individuals in senior leadership, it is important to speak their language. If I could transform how businesses work nowadays, that is the best thing I could do," says Daniel.
