USD Shines in Princeton Review’s Annual College Rankings
The university claims top 10 in four categories

The University of San Diego made the top 10 in four categories of The Princeton Review’s 2024 Best 389 Colleges, the publication’s national rankings edition that was released earlier this week.
Nationally, USD was ranked the second-most beautiful campus. The university also ranked #3 in Best Quality of Life, #9 in Green Matters: Everyone Cares About Conservation and #10 for Best-Run Colleges.
USD also ranked #14 in Happiest Students, #18 in College City Gets High Marks, #23 in Best Health Services and #37 in Top 50 Green Colleges.
Overall there are 50 categories of ranking lists in the edition. The ranking lists are entirely based on The Princeton Review’s surveys of 165,000 students at the 389 schools in the book. The company’s 85-question student survey asked students to rate their colleges on dozens of topics and report on their campus experiences.
The Princeton Review choses the colleges for the book based on data it annually collects from surveys of 2,000 college administrators about their institutions’ academic offerings.
