USD Wine Classic Raises $75K+ to Support Student Scholarships

More than $75,000 was raised during the University of San Diego’s 15th Annual Wine Classic on July 15 at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice Garden of the Sea. 

The event is held annually to support the Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund. The fund was launched in 2006 to provide much-needed scholarships for USD students. Recipients are current USD undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, strong academic merit and who give back to the USD and local community.

Wineries and wine purveyors from across California participated in this year’s event hosted by the University of San Diego Alumni Association. Since its inception, the event has generated more than $900,000 in scholarship support for deserving USD students.
