Brandon Moore Named USD’s Head Football Coach; Campus Celebration Planned for April 26

USD Athletics has named Brandon Moore as the new head coach of football. Moore comes to USD from the Colorado School of Mines where he took the team to their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division II Championship Game.

As a linebacker at the University of Oklahoma, Moore’s team won the National Championship in 2001. Moore then spent seven years in the NFL, including six with the San Francisco 49ers.

A celebration to welcome Coach Moore to the USD community is being held on Wednesday, April 26 at 4 p.m. at Paseo de Colachis.
