USD Student Earns Outstanding Delegate Award for His Work in the General Assembly

In November 2021, University of San Diego's Model United Nations team traveled to Seattle, WA to participate in the Northwest Model UN Conference. At the conference, USD delegates participated in the General Assembly, Security Council, the Commission on Narcotic Drugs and the UN Population Fund.

 

After a great weekend of collaborating with college students from around the country, the USD team successfully passed resolutions related to ongoing problems around the world. In addition, USD Delegate Tyler Young was selected as a recipient of the Outstanding Delegate Award for his work in the General Assembly representing the nation of Belgium!
