Alcalá Bazaar Tradition Brings Students Together

A festive scene greeted students on Tuesday, September 14 as booths from the University of San Diego Alcalá Bazaar involvement fair filled Paseo de Colachis.

A tradition that kicks off each semester, the event gives students the chance to discover the many opportunities and resources available to them on and off campus, including student organizations, university centers, local vendors and much more.

This year, the Alcalá Bazaar served as an opportunity for students to reconnect after being apart for more than a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Student organizations met new students face-to-face and shared their positive experiences about being involved on campus. 
It also gave new Toreros a chance to explore the interests and opportunities available to them.

From academic groups and Greek life to faith and multicultural organizations, there is something for everyone at the Alcalá Bazaar.

As students begin the new academic year with in-person learning and extracurricular activities, the excitement for the semester is palpable and the opportunities are endless for Toreros.
