This is your USD News Minute.

Give your loved ones a taste of the Torero life for Grandparents and Family Spring Weekend. They can take classes without quizzes, compete for prizes at Torero Family Trivia, and enjoy a tailgate before the men’s basketball game. And don’t miss a special visit from USD alum and NASA astronaut Matthew Dominick. He’s doing a Q&A Friday evening to talk about life aboard the International Space Station. Details in the links below.

The arts meet the sciences in a special production celebrating Women in STEM. The Jacobs Institute for Innovation in Education is partnering with The Lipinsky Family San Diego Jewish Arts Festival to organize a theatrical play that looks at the lives of four pioneering women in the STEM field. Catch that this Sunday at 5 p.m. in the Warren Auditorium.

And on the latest episode of USD’s “At the Edge of It All” podcast, we spoke to Dr. Marni LaFleur about her life’s work studying lemurs – what makes them so interesting and what they tell us about ourselves. You can find that on YouTube and wherever you get your podcasts.

As always – thanks for watching, and we’ll see you next week.
