USD Establishes New Academic Partnership With University of Monterrey
Collaboration will strengthen joint research initiatives, professional training, and cross-border academic programs

The University of San Diego has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Monterrey to strengthen education, research and innovation in library services through an international academic and library collaboration as part of the American Library Association’s Sister Libraries program.
The agreement was finalized Jan. 26 at UDEM’s Estoa Library during a visit by a University of San Diego Library delegation, which participated in academic activities including working sessions, institutional tours, and professional exchanges with UDEM counterparts.
The memorandum was signed by Theresa S. Byrd, director of the University of San Diego Library, and Liliana Araujo, director of the UDEM Library.
