Numerous laboratory tests can be completed at the Student Health Center (SHC).
At the time of your visit, samples for various lab tests may be obtained. Several common lab tests are done same-say on-site or may be sent to an outside lab facility for evaluation. Lab fees are due on the day of your appointment. You may alternatively take lab tests ordered by a SHC provider to your preferred off-site lab facility for processing.
If you are looking to have lab work from an outside provider completed at the Student Health Center, we will need a prescribed lab order from the ordering provider. This order can be faxed to (619)260-2375 or uploaded to the Wellness Portal.
Log into your MyWellness Portal
Click Appointments > Schedule an Appointment > Student Health Center (SHC) >Immunization Clinic/Lab Test > Lab Draw (we must have an order from your medical provider on file) >I would like to submit my lab order via secure message. Compose your message, attach your outside lab orders by clicking "Add Attachment" and click Send.
Your message will be sent to our medical staff. Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply.
