The Student Health Center will initiate an allergy management plan for a student if they meet the following criteria:
- Students who are already receiving regular allergy injections
- Students are getting injections no more frequently than 2 times weekly unless in maintenance phase.
- The student is at low risk for a serious adverse reaction. Typically, these are students who are receiving allergens for environmental allergies (pollens, weeds, dust mites, cats, dogs, etc) who experience upper respiratory symptoms. Students at risk for anaphylaxis cannot be managed by the Student Health Center.
**The SHC will NOT accept medication shipped through the mail or other mail delivery services.
Students will be responsible for dropping off and picking up medication during our normal business hours and will need to sign paperwork at each interaction to track inventory.
If you think you qualify for allergy management, please contact the SHC to initiate a consultation with a medical provider to initiate documents and transfer your care.
