Tara graduated from Whitworth University with a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training. She then moved to Statesboro, GA to attend grad school at Georgia Southern University where she served as a graduate assistant at East Georgia State College. Tara moved back to CA to finish graduate school at Point Loma Nazarene University, where she received a Master's Degree in Kinesiology. In addition to working at EGSC, she's worked with Whitworth University's Football and Track & Field, Gonzaga University's Rowing, Volleyball, and Men's Basketball teams as well as urgent care centers, physical therapy clinics, and in the high school setting. Tara started working at USD in 2016 as the Head Sports Club Athletic Trainer in Campus Recreation where she worked with Sports Clubs teams for 4 years. While working at USD she received a Master's Degree in Healthcare Informatics. She currently works at the Student Health Center as the Practice and Healthcare Informatics Admin.
During her free time, she likes paddleboarding, jiu-jitsu training, and hanging out with family and friends in L.A.
