Cheryl Getz, EdD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Leadership Studies and Director of the Leadership Studies Minor. She works closely with their M.A. students who are preparing for positions in Higher Education. She also uses a variety of non-traditional pedagogies in her classes.

Dr. Molenkamp, a native of Haarlem, The Netherlands, teaches courses on leadership, human relations, and organizational theory and change. He directs the Leadership for Change conference based on the group relations methodology. He also designs and delivers intensive, experiential leadership development programs and retreats for international corporations, NGOs, non-profit organizations and universities.
Through these and other organizations, René had directed scores of group relations conferences and related intensive leadership experiences in the United States and Europe. His expertise in working with groups and group dynamics has resulted in clients, such as the School of Management at Yale University, the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland, INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and Judge Business School at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. He has written articles and developed exercises related to group dynamics, coaching and personal development. His article on "The BART Method of Organizational Analysis: Boundary, Authority, Role and Task," co-authored with his husband, Zachary Green, is frequently assigned at colleges and universities where group relations principles are practiced.
Nydia C. Sánchez, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Higher Education with the Department of Leadership Studies at the University of San Diego and a Faculty Affiliate with the Project M.A.L.E.S. Research Institute at the University of Texas at Austin.
PhD, Counselor Education & Supervision from William & Mary M.S. in School Counseling
Nancy Chae is an Assistant Professor of Counseling at the University of San Diego where she teaches courses in school counseling. Nancy earned her PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from William & Mary, M.S. in School Counseling with a specialization in urban school counseling and Post Master's Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University, and B.A. in Psychology and Studies in Women & Gender from the University of Virginia. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and certified school counselor in Maryland, an approved clinical supervisor (ACS), and a nationally board-certified counselor (NCC) and school counselor (NCSC). Nancy is a passionate school counselor by training and has worked across the P-12 grade levels in Baltimore, Maryland, and also provided free family and group counseling services for children and parents in the Williamsburg & Hampton Roads area in Virginia. Her primary research interests include school counselors’ roles in promoting equitable access to academic rigor, particularly in International Baccalaureate programs, school counselors’ advocacy for underrepresented P-12 students and families, and school counseling supervision.

Suzanne Stolz, Ed.D. serves as an Associate Professor of Special Education, working with onsite and online students. A former high school English teacher, administrator, and leader of disability programs, she has expertise in online instruction, curriculum design, school culture, inclusive education, and disability studies. Suzanne has presented her research related to the identity development of students with disabilities at national and international conferences. She is the lead faculty member for the Online M.Ed. program's Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Inclusive Education specialization. She co-facilitated a Faculty Learning Community with the Center for Educational Excellence on UDL and continues to support UDL efforts on campus. In addition, she leads the Johnson Fellows program, an initiative to support general education teachers in better supporting students with learning disabilities. Suzanne is especially passionate about working with teachers to rethink their conceptions of disability and create inclusive school communities online and in person.

Rachelle Martinez is responsible for creating a comprehensive student engagement plan that fosters an equitable and inclusive community within SOLES. She is also the lead for SOLES orientation and commencement as well as the advisor to the SOLES Graduate Student Association.
Marcela Meave is the Logistics Manager for the Black InGenius Initiative (BiGI). BiGI is a pre-college support program designated to ameliorate the disproportionally our Black youth and other underrepresented students face navigating the education system.
