Starpoint Award
The Starpoint Award was established by business leaders David Cohn and Carl Delia, both of whom were instrumental in the development and launch of USD's Etrack Engineering Entrepreneurship program. This award funds a portion of the total prizes in seed money that are awarded at Etrack's annual Torero Entrepreneurship Challenge (TECh) competition. Awarding is based on the most successful demonstration of technological innovation or new product service development and its alignment to markets. Projects that also address improved social conditions, the environment or quality of life are highly encouraged.
The spirit of the Starpoint Award is to celebrate the entrepreneurial vision of our students and their impact on our society. It is exciting to see the level of invention and innovation by the students.
Torero Entrepreneurship Challenge
