The Larry Kull Endowed Student Award in Engineering and Entrepreneurship was recently established to honor Dr. Larry Kull. He is remembered by former colleagues, family and friends as a remarkable scientist, problem-solver, mentor and business leader. To honor his memory, his friends and former colleagues, including Randy Vosti, Hugh Kendrick and Stephen Dalich, have established this award, which will provide student awards in perpetuity.
Larry was such an extraordinary man. After his passing, friends and former colleagues Hugh Kendrick, Stephen Dalich and I wanted to find a way to honor him in a far-reaching way he so rightly deserved. USD's Etrack program grabbed our attention... USD represented the kind of values that Larry would have embraced."

Torero Entrepreneurship Challenge
Through the generous funding of the Larry Kull Endowed Student Award in Engineering and Entrepreneurship Student, student teams from across campus can present their technology-based venture to industry professionals and angel investors for a chance to compete for over $20,000 in seed money at USD's annual Torero Entrepreneurship Challenge (TECh) competition. Awarding is based on the most successful demonstration of technological innovation or new product service development and its alignment to markets and increases every year.
